Try our noted selection of Cornish Mead and fruit wines, new world wines, beers and spirits. We cater for families and large parties. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Childs portions are available. Choose from our extensive menu (including chef’s home made specials), or our renowned ‘Chicken or Scampi in the Rough’,. Eat with your fingers from a wooden platter in a candlelit setting of a bygone age. A salad bar and vegetarian options are also available.
The mood here is set by the medieval theme. Knights and shields are the order of the day. A fun place to enjoy the atmosphere and be served your dinner on a wooden platter by a lovely serving wench. The mead is tasty as is the food cooked by Dave Pounder who takes care to ensure you enjoy the food your wenches bring for you. A private room is available for those special nights when only a good old time banquet hall will do. There is something for everyone here with fun, mead and great food top of the agenda.
